Lubricant Additive

Graphite, layered hexagonal structure, has been widely applied in lubricant or lubricating oil and may enhance extreme pressure performance. Graphene, a single layered graphene, owns even greater mechanic properties. Its elastic modulus and tensile strength are 1.1 TPa and 125 GPa, respectively. These properties allow graphene to have large potential and advantage as the additive in lubricant and lubricating oil. Surface treated graphene facilitates high suspension in lubricant. Thus it effectively provides lubrication and protection of wearing surfaces between devices. Meanwhile, it significantly decreases the coefficient of friction.
The advantage of using graphene allows customers to develop highly commercial compatible and competitive products as well.
